young adult (high school graduate +) we encourage you to get involved with
the Young Adult Fellowship. We
meet every other Tuesday. Let

Sunday, September 25th 9:30am – 12:30pm We hope you were able to take advantage of this opportunity. We want to thank the people who organized this and especially Walgreens who sponsored this event. Wednesday, September 28th 6:30pm – 7:30pm Well, for all those who were able to make it to this event, we certainly "found The Joy" as The First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby hosted its Pampered Chef Fundraiser! This was an extra special event. Instead of the church acting as the ”Host” and receiving free, half-price and/or discounted products, the church received a CASH contribution from Pampered Chef. The topic of the night was “Taste & Tools”. Guests got to have all sorts of tastes of the Pampered Chef Pantry items; chicken pieces with savory sauces, pound cake with desert sauces, beer bread with dipping oils and more! As we tasted what the Pampered Chef pantry has to offer, the consultant highlighted some of the top tools of the season, as well as the "Must Have Top 5"! It was a relaxing, enjoyable and included some amazing food as the First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby hosted the Pampered Chef Show. If you attended this event, or even if you couldn't make it but were interested, and would like it repeated next year, please give us feedback. Saturday - October 1st If you missed our mystery road rally (to secret destinations), you missed an outstanding good time and a great lunch. Although the weather was a bit wet, it didn't dampen our spirits as we solved the clues (at least most of us), performing simple tasks (more difficult for some), and riddled our way to UNDERCOVER fun. We ended up at Rider's Inn for a great lunch and fellowship. There were only a couple of "lost souls" but they soon got back on the right path and we all ended up at Rider's in time for lunch. A special thanks to the Oviatts and all who helped put this fun event together. If you're interested in doing this again next year, please give us your feedback. Sunday, December 11th 5:00pm – 7:00pm Come Find The Joy as we celebrate everything with Apples! Everyone is welcome to attend. We invite you to bring something ‘Apple’ to share with the feast of apples. We will supply the apple cider and apple cheesecake. Our choir will sing some festive songs and we all will enjoy great friends, great company and some great tasting apple dishes. All you need to do it show -up with an apple dish to share.
