Congratulations to the
Confirmation Class of 2006: Michael,

Thank you to their

Sponsors…Barbara, Brenda, Jeff Paschal, Royal, Ken, Debbie, Beth, and
Jim.
Thank you to everyone that
helped with our 2nd rotation on John the Baptist. This included Barb,
Cheryl, Lisa and Rachel. Also a thank you for those of you currently
helping with our 3rd rotation on baby Jesus, Shanti, Barb, Brenda and
Cheryl =. A continued thank you to our pre-k teachers and our Jr. and
Sr. high teachers. Everyone that we have approached has been so helpful
and eager to help with Christian education and the CE committee cannot thank
you enough. Also, we have had some very great helpers behind the
scenes as well. Thank you to Carol for putting up with us,
Sandy for making our Worship in the Woods posters and to Sue that
does so much to help keep us organized with attendance and worship and
shepherd bags. I am sure there are other volunteers that help us too, so
thank you all!!!
Worship in the woods was a great success with about 75 people in attendance.
Also a great big thank you to everyone that helped with our U.N.I.C.E.F.
Halloween party, we earned over $200.00 to send to a worthwhile cause of
helping children everywhere.
Thank you to all that have helped with the adult Christian education classes
and to
Gloria for sharing your trip to
Africa
with us.

Dec. 9th – K and 1st light the advent wreath. Apple and

Dec. 15th – Christmas Play rehearsal at 10:00 a.m. sharp.
Dec 16th – Christmas play at the 11:00 service. 2nd & 3rd
light the advent wreath.
Dec. 23nd – Birthday party for Jesus in the Presbytery Inn for pre-K through
6th grades. Bring a donation for WFP.
4th & 6th light the advent wreath
Dec. 24th – Jr. High lights the advent wreath at the 7:00 service and the
Sr. High class lights the advent wreath at the 11:00 service.
Dec. 30th – No CE classes

Who:
All the children from the pre-k class through the 6th grade
What:
We will be celebrating the birth of the baby Jesus with cake and games
Where:
The Presbytery Inn
When;
Sunday, December 23rd, during
Sunday School time
 We are asking the children to bring presents of diapers and baby food
which will be taken to the Willoughby Food Pantry.
These will be our birthday presents to the baby savior, for Jesus said
in Matthew 25:45…”I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the
least of thsese brothers of mine, you did for me.”
